What Causes Most Human Misfortune?

If you still believe that most human misfortune is caused by chance, human incompetence, and misunderstandings — and not by human attempts to exploit and control other humans — then this hour with Peter and Ginger Breggin could change your life for the better. Elite, self-entitled, power-hungry human beings have systematically exploited, controlled, and murdered the rest of us since the dawn of civilization.

In the last eight decades, we have seen these abuses inflicted on us, from the recent and ongoing COVID-19 policies and practices to the chronic abuses perpetrated by Dr. Breggin’s profession of psychiatry, and in the extreme, the tens of millions who lost their lives and the even more who lost the wealth and their freedom to Hitler, Stalin, Mao and the Japanese elite surrounding World War II.

It does not take subtle or elaborate conspiracy theories to see how humans living together in large villages and cities have always been vulnerable to the latest local political to the nearest empire that wants to overrun and prey upon them.

Now the conglomerate of sometimes competing global predators is the primary threat to the planet as the capacity for elites to take advantage of everyone else has been globalized by technological advances in communications and travel, and in organizing vast amounts of information through computers and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Unless we face that the globalists have become a thoroughly predatory group, we will not understand them and be able to resist and overcome them. The key is the strength of our constitutional democracies, especially a revitalized United States of America.

As a bonus, the second of our three segments deals with the oppressiveness of organized psychiatry and psychiatric drugs, lobotomy, and ECT. Dr. Breggin discusses the basic principles for withdrawing from psychiatric and which of his books will help listeners concerned about helping themselves or others withdraw from these neurotoxic chemicals with a careful, slow enough, and safe approach.
