For many of us old enough to have witnessed the Vietnam war, the iconic photograph of the naked nine-year-old girl running down the road was seared into our minds. The girl was Kim Phuc Phan Thi. An American plane dropped bombs on her village. The last bomb enveloped her in napalm, burning her clothes from her body.
The photographer who captured her image rushed her to the hospital, where she was considered too near death to save due to the extent of her burns. Her family found her in the morgue, barely alive. After sixteen surgeries and years of being used by the communist regime for propaganda, she grew up. Surviving suicidal urges, the surgeries, the political abuse, and the horrendous injury itself, Kim ultimately found comfort in Jesus and became a Christian. “Her enemies list became her prayer list, including the man who coordinated the airstrike that nearly killed her,” reports Jim Daly in his blog Daily Focus.1
Now there is another child who accompanies Kim Phuc Phan Thi in my mind. This child is unnamed and ungendered. Wrapped completely in a Tyvek hazmat suit and mask, the legs of the suit trail behind her. She is maybe five years old, and her bearing, her hesitancy, is that of a small beaten creature, dazed and confused. A dozen anonymous adults swathed in hazmat suits and masks are screaming at her, unwilling to touch her as they herd her into a van, without parents, to be taken to a “temporary hospital” after testing positive for COVID.
Both children are children of war. Kim Phuc Phan Thi was in a “traditional” kinetic war. The unnamed, ungendered child from Shanghai is in a war against freedom being waged by China, first against its own people and universally around the world. China claims that the lockdown they are imposing upon Shanghai — a city of 25 million souls — is a healthcare measure, but it is not.
The last two years have taught us that the failed public health lockdowns are a tool of totalitarians. Public health measures based on executive orders, “emergency measures,” and police to enforce them, often with accompanying brutality, are neither democratic nor elective. Nor are they preventive or healing. Tucker Carlson said of the lockdown of Shanghai, “you have the largest prison camp in human history.”2 This is occurring even though the lockdown measures have failed again and again and should never have been implemented.3,4,5
China is a totalitarian state run by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).6 The CCP does not share traditional Western values or morals and will use any means to conquer its competitors. Chief among them is the United States of America and other democratic republics such as Australia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and South Africa.7
The current war on freedom and liberty around the world has been oppressive everywhere, but nowhere has there been more torment than in China. The Shanghai lockdown occurring now offers up horrific images being captured on video and cellphone photos that cannot be unseen even as Chinese officials rush to wipe them from the internet. The small child being separated from her family was among many horrors. “Healthcare” workers were collecting up and bagging cats like so much garbage to be killed. A Corgi was beaten to death by a “healthcare worker” on a Shanghai street and was caught on video.
Worse, as weeks of lockdown have passed, human residents chained into their apartments in Shanghai are starving. Many in high-rises take to their balconies, banging pots and pans as they scream for food. Drones are sent flying over skyscrapers telling residents to “control your soul’s desire for freedom.”8 Other locked-down residents are throwing themselves off high-rise balconies and rooftops or hanging themselves. Social media is flooded with pictures of the dead and videos of humans hurtling to the ground.9,10,11 Anyone who claims that Communist China’s “healthcare” or their puppet, the World Health Organization has a scientific basis and medical ethics is deluded, propagandized, or an apologist. This is rank evil, and the longer we do not call it out and confront it, the worse it will get.
We will reap what we ignore. The West has ignored or excused human rights violations in China for decades. We have hoped that our values would rub off on this ancient civilization. Instead, what we are seeing is totalitarianism being carried to new and cruel levels. The atrocities are being overlooked by the West. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the highest-paid physician and medical bureaucrat in the United States, continues to praise Xi Jinping.12
Now they are coming for us. In the greatest, most egregious example of child abuse, authoritarians are forcing parents throughout America to give experimental, dangerous, genetically modifying injections to their children. Throughout America, parents and other responsible adults, including physicians, other healthcare professionals, educators, and politicians, allow this atrocity to continue. These child victims of abuse are gaining nothing whatsoever from the vaccines and would be far better off gaining community immunity. Instead, they are being given largely useless “vaccines” that are killing some children as COVID-19 never does and crippling others while leaving the rest to uncertain futures as more harms manifest themselves.13
The Communist Chinese Party, like every communist or totalitarian government, is killing its own people.14 And increasingly, the Chinese communists and the globalist predators among us are coming for the rest of us with totalitarian measures in America and across the globe.15,16,17 Unless we re-embrace our Western principles and our Judeo-Christian morals and fight for our freedom, all our children from every nation will become children of war.
