Doctors need a safe and effective treatment now—one that helps to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 in their patients and to save lives. Healthcare workers, teachers, and other essential personnel exposed to the pandemic virus need a prophylaxis that can be taken to help their bodies resist becoming infected. An inexpensive and easily available treatment for COVID-19 would also help Americans to conquer the fear they have been exposed to through the panic of the mainstream media and facilitate the reopening of our nation’s social life, educational system, and economy. President Donald Trump can make all this happen!

The People’s Drug

Hydroxychloroquine and zinc as a prophylactic, and hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin and zinc for patients developing COVID-19 could change the landscape of fear that we live with now.

As we have previously emphasized, around the world untold thousands of doctors and entire nations have been using this drug successfully.  The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons has shown that the countries which actively use hydroxychloroquine have much lower death rates than those that suppress the medication. 

People are dying because of opposition to this medication.

Frontline Physicians Organize for Hydroxychloroquine

Frontline treating physicians from all over the U.S. are speaking out about their successes in prescribing hydroxychloroquine for patients with Covid-19, and the need to be able to continue to do so. On July 28, 2020, doctors gathered in Washington, D.C. to speak out on behalf of their patients. Doctors Battle the Pharmaceutical Empire

Three outstanding physicians—Vladimir Zelenko MD, Harvey Risch MD, and George Fareed MD—recently published a 248-page monograph which assembles and comments on dozens of studies demonstrating the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine. The review is titled Medical Studies Support MDs Prescribing Hydroxychloroquine for Early Stage COVID-19 and for Prophylaxis.  It can be downloaded without cost from our Coronavirus Resource Center.  

One of the three authors, Harvey A. Risch, MD, PhD, professor of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, has written a definitive public defense of the drug in Newsweek. On May 27, 2020, Dr. Risch separately published a study, "Early Outpatient Treatment of Symptomatic, High-Risk COVID-19 Patients that Should be Ramped-Up Immediately as Key to the Pandemic Crisis." It appeared in the world’s leading journal in the field, the American Journal of Epidemiology (AJE). In the face of such establishment scientific support for hydroxychloroquine, it is astonishing that globalist media industries such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube should be able to censor comments by President Trump and by groups of physicians in support of the use of hydroxychloroquine. 

Meanwhile, as yet unpublished studies are touted by the media and the scientific press to discourage the use of hydroxychloroquine. 

Draconian measures by state governors have added to the ongoing censorship to make it increasingly difficult for physicians to use the medication.  The elite of globalism, so closely involved with the Pharmaceutical Empire, are doing everything in their power to stifle what we call the Peoples’ Drug. 

Off-Label Drug Use: A Protected Right of Physicians and Patients

The FDA itself agrees that US doctors are allowed to prescribe medicines for off-label use. The agency has stated, “From the FDA perspective, once the FDA approves a drug, healthcare providers generally may prescribe the drug for an unapproved use when they judge that it is medically appropriate for their patient.”  The right of doctors and their patients to agree to use off-label drugs is established by tradition and law, something I can attest to as practicing physician and as a forensic psychiatrist. Once a medication is approved, physicians commonly use it for a wide variety of other purposes.

Enter Darth Vader

Acting like the Darth Vader of the Dark Side, the FDA has joined the Pharmaceutical Empire’s attack on hydroxychloroquine and has tried to destroy the off-label prescription of hydroxychloroquine. The FDA’s administrative actions which have effectively banned hydroxychloroquine use by physicians are unprecedented and serve the vested interests standing to make an unimaginable fortune from vaccines.

On April 24, 2020 the FDA issued a “Drug Safety Communication” titled FDA Cautions Against Use Outside of the Hospital Setting or a Clinical Trial Due to Risk of Heart Rhythm Problems.  The agency gave a dire warning to doctors about the off-label use of hydroxychloroquine, stating that it “should be used for COVID-19 only when patients can be appropriately monitored in the hospital as required by the EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) or are enrolled in a clinical trial with appropriate screening and monitoring.” The agency warned doctors not to use the drug except in a pre-established controlled clinical trial: “If a health care professional is considering use of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine to treat or prevent COVID-19, FDA recommends checking www.clinicaltrials.gov for a suitable clinical trial and considering enrolling the patient.” The FDA followed this up by then cancelling the Emergency Use Authorization of the drug, in effect limiting its use to preexisting controlled clinical trials. In other words, the FDA told doctors that they cannot use the drug at all in clinical practice.

To make sure physicians would not even have emergency access to the drug, on June 15, 2020 the FDA cancelled the Emergency Use Authorization that it had previously approved. This nailed the coffin shut on tens of thousands of people whose lives might have been saved by taking small, early doses of hydroxychloroquine.

Why would the FDA take such an illegal, drastic, and deadly stand against a safe and effective drug that is already in use worldwide against a pandemic? The global medical/pharmaceutical complex lives in dread of a cheap drug like hydroxychloroquine that will squash its mad goldrush toward making expensive drugs and vaccines for covid-19. This has happened before, when a vaccine developed for other coronaviruses remained unfunded for human trials in 2016 because of a lack of immediate need or interest. The FDA has put the Pharmaceutical Empire above all other human and scientific concerns. 

All this Can Be Changed

We can turn around the deaths, turn around the fear, turn around our economy, re-establish our children’s normal lives, and the lives of countless adult Americans, including our fragile elders dying of loneliness in nursing homes, away from their families. President Trump can cancel the FDA directive that has kidnapped hydroxychloroquine. The President can thus re-establish the principle of off label prescription, reinstating the right of patients and physicians to determine the course of medical treatment. He can then make available the 63 million doses of the drug that is stockpiled by the federal government. Beyond that he can ramp of production of hydroxychloroquine in the United States.

Let’s save America and save the world. That is what we do best.
