The Inhumanity and Treachery of Governments – Lessons of COVID

Definition of cognitive dissonance: psychological conflict resulting from incongruous beliefs and attitudes held simultaneously.1

When I walked our two dogs today, the sun was shining. There is a robin nesting on top of our porch light, right outside our front door. Half of a vivid turquoise eggshell lies below the nest, and I’ve seen a parent arrive with a fat green grub for a newly hatched baby. Fluffy white clouds — the products of our nearby Finger Lakes — float across the blue sky.

What is in front of my eyes is utterly normal. This glowing scene brings a surge of memories. Picnics and walking barefoot on the lawn. Fourth of July celebrations and the sun warming my head like a benediction. Children chasing bubbles with dogs running joyfully through the green grass.

Meanwhile, awareness of danger and the knowledge I carry are churning in my mind. I look at this gorgeous summer day, and tears spring to my eyes. I have spent the last two and a half years trying to look around the next corner by synthesizing and analyzing all the data I can gather, from the science, medicine, psychology, economics, human behavior, history, cultural norms, current events, the crowdsourcing of social media and through consumption of the evaluations and analysis pouring forth from minds greater than mine, through books, reports, research, substacks, interviews, presentations, and media events.

No longer is there an overarching crisis. Now we have accumulating disasters that are gathering like thunderheads, growling and flickering with lightning as they move closer. Some disasters have already arrived, but like so many, they are not hitting every member of the population. Baby formula shortage is an ongoing crisis for new parents and their infants. Gas prices are gutting what little profit existed for farmers, truck drivers, delivery companies, and families who want to make that precious pilgrimage to the grandparents or to take that promised family vacation to the beach.

There are already early signs of food shortages and reports of fertilizer shortages.

By fall it is predicted we will have grain scarcities worldwide resulting in stark famine in some parts of the world, and empty bread, pasta, and flour shelves in the US. This is known because crops can’t be planted right now due to the prices of diesel and fertilizer in Western nations, and the grain sources that were so abundant in Russia and Ukraine are badly damaged by the war.

Our healthcare system was strained by the deliberate mismanagement of the COVID-19 disease and suppression of early treatments that resulted in flooded hospitals in 1920-21. These hospitals now struggle with medication shortages. Contrast dye for C.T. scans is scarce I was informed when my mother needed a C.T. scan two weeks ago. A quick look, and I learn that there are over 251 drug shortage bulletins issued in the first five months of 2022 — a profound increase. In 2021 there were 89 drug shortage bulletins, and in 2020 there were 84 bulletins for each entire year.2

Many of the growing alarms are the result of destructive COVID-related directives. Our first responders, our military, our pilots, and our healthcare physicians and nurses have been assaulted with an experimental, unproven injection containing never approved ingredients. Many have suffered illness as a result, and too many have died. The ranks of these vital forces have been compromised as those members unwilling to submit to the experiment have been forced out. Early signs of this trouble are shrinking police forces, a U.S. military that is increasingly weakened by vaccine injury, and the growing inability of the airlines to service peak demand times for travelers.

Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH, a leading COVID physician examining the deaths and damages of COVID-19 vaccination, declares, “The advent of mRNA and adenoviral DNA vaccines has ushered in a whole new genre of internal medicine diseases that has besieged the medical community. Because so many physicians were duped into the taking one of the COVID-19 vaccines, they are having a hard time coming to terms with the reality that their patients are developing complications that indeed a physician could develop, including well-recognized problems such as myocarditis, blood clots, bleeding, and skin rashes and immune system problems. The most worrisome of all complications is death after vaccination. Sadly, in the U.S. domestic VAERS data, as of May 20, 2022, there have been 13,045 Americans that have died shortly after taking one of the ill-advised or mandated COVID-19 vaccines. From a regulatory perspective, any death that occurs after an investigational product within 30 days is attributed to the article under investigation.3

Many of these deaths and injuries are occurring among those aforementioned first responders, who were ordered to be first in line for the injections.

Now we hear about monkeypox. Previously a benign and non-contagious virus that was difficult to spread without close contact between a human and often a primate or other diseased animal. Monkeypox is simultaneously showing up in 30 countries, with no deaths reported. As of today, there are two strains of monkeypox loose in the U.S.4,5 Legacy media are carrying this story broadly for the World Health Organization, ramping up the fear factor. The possibility of this being just a natural happening is plummeting. At best, the monkeypox news is meant to frighten and confuse us, making us more malleable. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports there are unusual symptoms presenting in this multi-country outbreak of monkeypox and that there are already stores of several kinds of monkeypox vaccine on hand.6 Further, there is evidence that monkeypox has been a focus in some of these level 4 Biolabs.7,8

Somebody has probably monkeyed with the monkeypox.

There is the war in Ukraine with brinkmanship being played by the U.S. and Ukraine goading Russia and the resultant rattling of nuclear sabers. Supplies of iodine tablets for radiation poisoning were sold out a few weeks ago when possible use of nuclear warheads was mentioned but are again available.

In the U.S., we have mass killings going on in unprecedented numbers. Dr. Paul E. Alexander reported on Steven Bannon’s War Room that the COVID lockdowns resulted in “catastrophic failures.”9 School closures and mask mandates did not have any positive results. Dr. Alexander explained that he and economist Jeffrey Tucker have been analyzing the effects of lockdowns and closures, and isolations of the COVID years. Many of America’s more vulnerable adolescents have spiraled into emotional crisis.

Statistics now show that mass shootings [generally four or more victims] have spiraled out of control in the year 2022. “In 2017 there were thirty mass shootings in America. In 2018 there were thirty. In 2019 there were thirty-one mass shootings. Then all of a sudden in 2020 for the ten months of lockdowns it jumped to forty. Then in 2021, it jumped to 61, a 52% increase. But right now, there are 232 mass shootings in America.”

And right now, if all stays the same, Alexander predicts that there may be 450 mass shootings before the end of this year. We need to look very seriously at the degree of damage to segments of society from the lockdowns, especially to our children and youth.10

Some of the information I am mulling has been available for much longer than 2020 at the beginning of the COVID years. But with the initial COVID wave in our rear-view mirror, I see in new ways through this different lens–the COVID lens.

On the morning of 9/11, I was just getting up when my husband came in from the shower to tell me a plane had hit the Twin Towers in New York. We turned on the T.V., and as I dressed, we saw the second plane fly smack into the second tower. That day, I lost a layer of trust that I didn’t even know I carried. And I thought I was scrubbed raw; no trust left. But I was wrong. I had further layers of trust to be scoured off.

As the days and weeks flowed by during COVID lockdown, I learned repeatedly how easy it is for leaders we should be able to trust to lie to us. I discovered there were degrees of deception and confabulation that were being passed off as truth by our own federal and state agencies. Those agencies, from the White House to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), the NIH (National Institutes of Health), and public health officials all over the country and most of the U.S. governors, were passing along information that to this day they have neither retracted nor apologized for and that has resulted in several hundreds of thousands of deaths in the U.S. alone and millions in the world.

I learned how dehumanizing, angry, and fearful human beings can be toward others. Some personal friends and health care providers were dismissive and hostile toward me for my personal health choices, and many families have been torn apart by these differences.

Underlying that dreadful unfolding of the COVID disaster was the fact that my country, precious to me for the freedoms I have been afforded throughout my life and the responsibilities I have been able to shoulder, has betrayed us all. I was dismayed when I discovered ⏤ , and Peter and I sounded the alarm that U.S. funding, knowledge, and data were being shared with the single other potential superpower in the world who promised, again and again, to someday conquer America. We learned that U.S. government resources were teamed up and creating laboratory manipulated, genetically “enhanced” Sars-CoV superbugs. Gain of function experiments with Sars-CoV was ongoing at the Wuhan lab, at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and around other U.S. and Chinese instillations. These discoveries led to researching and authoring our book COVID-19 and the Global Predators: We are the Prey.11

In all, there are nearly 60 biosafety level 4 maximum containment laboratories in operation or being built in the world in 23 different countries.12 These facilities are storing and handling the most dangerous pathogens in the world affecting humans, animals, and plants. Worse, the labs provide ample opportunities for genetic manipulation and laboratory creation of even more deadly agents. With little oversight, less moral consideration, little examination of ethics, and virtually no input from citizens, these labs have proliferated. They present a massive risk of accidental or purposeful release that dwarfs the risk of emergence from the nature of pathogens.

What we have all learned since March of 2020 is that the U.S. and other free nations have funded the building and much of the operation of the Wuhan Level 4 containment lab in Wuhan, China, along with other similar labs in China, Ukraine, and other countries. There is the robust collaboration and collegial sharing of knowledge and science that has been going on between U.S. federally funded scientists and Chinese Communist military scientists for at least a decade or two. The U.S. and other Western nations have funded and vastly facilitated the development of both knowledge and the ability of the Chinese military to make deadly pathogens in sophisticated laboratories.13

There are two things I have learned. Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself. And Sars-CoV-2 did not originate in a Wuhan wet market. We have consorted and traded with the Chinese Communists and helped them gain biological weapons despite their warning boasts that they will conquer us.14

Ironic, isn’t it, that the super sterile and clean world of Level 4 containment laboratories becomes the representation of the worst kind of betrayals of both America and freedom-loving peoples everywhere. The level 4 labs and other actions of the Chinese administration also betray the Chinese people, so long suppressed by the Communist Chinese Party (CCP).

How did this happen?

Utopian diplomats imagined that if we traded with and related to the great closed nation of China, we would be able to gradually influence the Chinese Communist Leaders to become more democratic and more free market, lifting millions of Chinese citizens out of poverty and offering new opportunities for growth and development. Unfortunately, rubbing elbows with China seems to have Communist Chinese behaviors rubbing off on our formerly democratic government officials rather than vice versa.

In 1971 U.S. President Nixon announced he would be visiting the Communist nation of China. Perhaps he and his secretary of State Henry Kissinger thought there was no downside to engaging in economic and political relations. China was only recently emerging from the brutality, torture, and mass murders of its previous leader Mao Zedong. “From 1958 to 1962, his Great Leap Forward policy led to the deaths of up to 45 million people – easily making it the biggest episode of mass murder ever recorded,” reported the Washington Post author Ilya Somin in his article “Remembering the biggest mass murder in the history of the world.”15 Professor R.J. Rummel, who spent his lifetime analyzing genocide and mass murder by governments, has documented 20th Century civilian deaths from unnatural sources at the hands of the Chinese government at more than 76 million murdered souls.16

In the decades since U.S. President Nixon and Henry Kissinger opened the doors into China, the U.S. has transferred huge swaths of formerly domestic industry overseas.”Unbeknownst to many consumers…80 percent of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients are produced abroad, the majority in China and India,” Senator Chuck Grassley wrote in 2020.17 Some of our most sensitive and technologically advanced equipment, including iPhones, many computers, and computer components, as well as medical equipment, are dependent upon China manufacturing. China is the world’s manufacturing Superpower as of 2019, according to the United Nations Statistics Division.18

The NBA (short for the National Basketball Association—such irony) makes millions annually, from their relationship with China, a fact that is just coming out.19 In 2019, the NBA censored a Houston Rockets general manager who was pressured into resigning a year later for expressing support for Hong Kong citizens protesting the increasingly suppressive actions of the Communist Chinese Party.

Pressures from the freedom fighters in Hong Kong and the violence of the Chinese government against the protesters in 2019 resulted in Beijing enacting a national security law to crush further dissent.20 China did not want another Tiananmen Square, where 1989 protests in Beijing resulted in a blood bath with reports that “several hundred to up to 10,000” peaceful pro-democracy demonstrators were killed or vanished into gulags.21 With the emergence of COVID has come further suppression of the Chinese freedom movement.22 Now, the protests that emerge sporadically relate in large part to continued rolling COVID lockdowns in some of China’s largest cities.23

As it turns out, “responding to” the Sars-CoV-2 and COVID-19 disease is a convenient cover for the control of restless populations yearning to be free, even in a country that has never seen genuine democracy.24

The totalitarian control being exerted by federal officials in Canada, Australia, and other democratic republics is tragic. In America, we are experiencing similar Constitutional infringements, from the ‘vanishing’ into prisons of January 6 defendants to the continuing illegal mandates for dangerous and experimental “vaccine” injections and deadly medical malpractices in hospitals where good drugs are withheld, and bad drugs are forcibly administered.25,26

We should have known. America should have known better. The CCP has Gulags, where they lock up and enslave many of their own minority citizens and political prisoners. The CCP has massively persecuted religious minorities, including the Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Christians, and the Fulan Gong.27,28 “Based on dozens of testimonies, a report described a ‘dystopian hellscape’ encompassing grave violations against detainees, systematic state surveillance of millions of people, and efforts to root out the religious traditions, cultural practices, and local languages of the region’s Muslim ethnic groups,” reports Amnesty International this year.29

Organ harvesting of prisoners is rampant in China, and evidence has been accumulated of organ harvesting before death.30,31 One of the authors of “Execution by organ procurement: Breaching the dead donor rule in China,” declared, “We have shown for the first time that the transplant surgeons are the executioners — that the mode of execution is organ procurement. These are self-admissions of executing the patient,” said Jacob Lavee, MD. He is an Israeli heart transplant surgeon and author of the scientific paper published in the American Journal of Transplantation.32

Nations that love freedom, which are democratic republics, should have known. You do not arm your enemy. You do not hand your enemy the keys to your kingdom — to the most secret and highly classified work being done by your military and your intelligence agencies to protect your republic.

This would be like inviting the Nazis during World War II to join Oppenheimer and the gang at the Los Alamos Laboratory in New Mexico for the creation of the first Manhattan Project bombs in 1943.33 Or sending Oppenheimer and his scientists and American tax dollars to Nazi Germany to help them build their own Los Alamos Laboratory.

On 9/11, I learned personally about man’s inhumanity to man. It was an entirely deeper lesson than the academic study of the human condition in a classroom or through the eyes of authors and history books.

Then the lens of COVID irrevocably taught me about the inhumanity and treachery of governments. The hour is late, my friends. I have wept, but where there is life, there is hope.

Outside my window, a small brook meanders through my backyard. A dragonfly hovers over the water. Orchard orioles are coming to the feeder along with their more common backyard feathered friends. A fat groundhog is munching on the green grass. Clumps of tiny blue flowers still carpet our lawn in late spring–African violets and Azur Bluets. Once again, my mind drifts.

We must not be seduced into complacency by the sunshine of summer.

Within the hearts of most human beings lies the potential for empathy and goodwill toward others. I am reminded of this by a short video clip that documented the crash of a car into a motorcycle, trapping a motorcyclist underneath the car. More than a dozen Good Samaritans rushed to the crash and went shoulder to shoulder against the side of the car, lifting it onto two wheels and freeing the trapped person.34

We must seek each other out. We who love freedom, love America, love the ideals and the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and liberty.

Together, we have a nation to rebuild and a world to save.
